Come out to Wildcat Mountain with SASQ in North Georgia! We will be doing ARRL Amateur Radio Field Day on June 22, 2024 at 0730am until sundown (later if you campout on summit)!

Learn about the amateur radio hobby from the best portable operators in the Southeast - SASQ! We will have multiple stations on site for you to have a look at, as well to let you try your hand at operating. We will have lessons and practical exercises setting up stations and antennas. We will have modest snacks and drinks on hand, as well as shelter options if the weather doesn't cooperate. Come out for an hour, come spend the day, or come and camp overnight. We will be on location through Sunday morning.

 

We are also running SASQ qualifications and giving away a Malahit DSP SDR radio to the first ham to complete the qualification successfully!

This event is open to EVERYONE! No license required. Just meet us at the trailhead and be ready for a half mile moderate hike to the summit.
